Training includes:

  • General Presentation of Basic Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 and Regulation (EU) 1321/2014;
  • Part-145 / Part-M objectives and application field;
  • Fundamentals and key-points of Part-145 / Part-M;
  • Structure of EASA Part-145/Part-M and associated documents;
  • Detailed presentation of Part-145/Part-M requirements:
    • facility requirements;
    • tools and equipment;
    • maintenance data;
    • production planning;
    • certification of maintenance and Certificate of Release to Service (CRS);
    • maintenance records;
    • occurrence reporting;
    • safety and quality policy;
    • manuals and procedures.
  • Position of EASA Part-145/Part-M among maintenance requirements andlink with other Part’s, in particular: Part-66, Part-147;
  • Approval application;
  • Extension or modification of the scope of approval;
  • Post-approval audit and monitoring.


Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to:- To know the key points in aircraft maintenance /airworthiness;- To know how to navigate through the various textsand use the relevant information now and in the future;- To become familiar with EASA Part-145/Part-Mdetailed requirements.

Target Group

Personnel working in any technical department of an air carrier, mechanicsand certifying staff as well as quality department personnel belonging toEASA Part-M(G) Organisations, or EASA Part-M(F) organizations orEU-OPS organizations.

Aircraft Engine



Experience working in Part-145/Part-M organisation is preferable.


None. Participants will receive a Part-147 certificateupon successful completion of the course.
